'Hope' is a track about finding home in a community that finally brings you peace.
Asha Jane wrote these lyrics based on how she feels at home within Ladies of Rage.

Produced and co-sung by the exceptional talent that is Welsh electronic soul producer and songwriter Eädyth, this collab was a long time coming for fans of the pair who have played multiple shows along side each other, and sung backing vocals for each other as well as Eädyth’s sister Kizzy Crawford!

Hope ft. Asha Jane is the opening chapter of a collaboration between Eädyth and the forcible Ladies of Rage.

This talented group have teamed up with Merthyr’s
electro/pop/RnB producer/Soul singer Eädyth
to create a womxn of colour EP 'Harddwch Du' meaning 'Black Beauty' in English in celebration of Black history month and the empowerment of young black artists.

The EP due for release on January 22nd has splashes of R’n’B/Neo Soul and experimental sounds all wrapped into one EP ‘Harddwch Du’ with rich powerful and soulful voices and innovative production techniques from members of the group this EP really shows us how diverse this group is.

Project leader and collaborative producer of the EP
Eädyth is fast becoming a household name to listeners of BBC Wales and BBC Radio Cymru due to her unique electro soul sound and bilingual lyricism. In 2020 she also received airtime from KISS FM and BBC Radio 1.

Ladies of Rage is an unincorporated organisation whose aims formed to support womxn in Cardiff who are involved in urban, MOBO, and electronic music, like but not limited to hip hop, drum and bass and grime. They are to promote recreational activities, mutual support
and share skills among their members, such as mentoring and skills workshops.
